Transcript
COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Lieutenant. Everybody here? All right.
ADMIRAL DANIEL WILFORD: Colonel, I'm here in Speradon commanding the fleet action. As you know, we're here to raid a shipyard, but there are several other targets we'd like to acquire first.
COLONEL CHRISTOPHER BLAIR: Well, I'm ready to review 'em, Admiral.
ADMIRAL DANIEL WILFORD: Now, this is a testing site within an asteroid belt where Confed shakes down their newly-built fighters. We'd love to confiscate a few. Second, the ringed planet in this system is orbited by a weapons-manufacturing plant: another prime target. And, finally, we've zeroed in on a carrier -- poorly guarded -- undergoing some ad-hoc repairs near the outermost planet. Now, I'm downloading mission specifics and a pre-recorded briefing for each operation. I'll leave you to size up the tactical situation, Colonel, and make the decision on how to proceed. Good luck.

Appropriate graphics and animations accompany each thumbnail mission description as Wilford presents it:
a map plays across the wall screen -- illustrating a test site in an asteroid belt.
wilford (v.o.) This is a testing site within an asteroid belt where Confed shakes down their newly-built fighters. We'd love to 'confiscate' a few.
the visual on the wall screen changes, showing an orbital weapons-manufacturing plant.
wilford (v.o.) Second, the ringed planet in this system is orbited by a weapons-manufacturing plant. Another prime target.
the wall screen visual changes again, displaying a carrier in "dry-dock."

Wilford returns to the wall screen.

Wilford disappears from the wall screen and --
The wall screen will now provide the mission selection interface...
Blair will CHOOSE one mission from a "MENU" of 3ÿmissions (we suggest each mission's nav-maps be available to cycle through):
A) Scoop up fighters from a testing ground; B) Attack an orbiting weapons-manufacturing plant; C) Attack a carrier undergoing repairs.
After Blair makes a decision, one of the following pre-recorded mission-specific briefings from Admiral Wilford will play on the wall screen:
