Jedora Andropolos was the captain of the TCS Iason during the 2629 Terran Confederation push to colonize and explore the Vega Sector. On 2629.105, the Iason became the first Terran Confederation ship to encounter the Kilrathi. Captain Andropolos beamed the standard wideband non-verbal greeting to the then-unidentified ship and then waited motionlessly for twenty-two minutes. The Kilrathi then opened fire and destroyed the Iason with all hands. The ship was later revealed to be the Kilrathi destroyer KIS K'rath'kan, led by Brath’kar nar Caxki, who thought the trespassing Iason was trying to disable the K'rath'kans shields.
