It was the site of the 2634 McAuliffe Ambush. It was home to the space station Alexandria. The Kilrathi name for this system was "Vikyah".

The TCS Tiger's Claw preformed several missions in the McAuliffe System on 2654.131 and 2654.132. These included:

  • Several patrol missions
  • A number of strike missions against Kilrathi ships resulting in the destruction of at least one Ralari-class destroyer
  • Several escort missions protecting incoming Confederation transports and tankers.
