Pembroke Station is a starbase located in the Pembroke System. It is a major security installation of the Terran Confederation.

Pembroke Station plays an especially vital role of the defense of the Enigma and Vega Sectors. Within Pembroke is a jump nexus that connects the two sectors together. Whoever controls this nexus will have virtually uncontested access to both sectors, making in a primary target of the Kilrathi Empire during the Terran-Kilrathi War. Pembroke Station is assigned to the defense of this nexus.

Pembroke Station's importance increased after the Kilrathi were defeated at K'tithrak Mang in 2667, ending the Enigma Sector Campaign. Desperate to regain lost ground, the Kilrathi launched a major offensive against Pembroke in 2667, forcing the Terran Confederation on the defensive. The TCS Concordia was assigned to ensure the survival of Pembroke Station. The station was almost destroyed when the Kilrathi launched a massive strike force against the installation. Fortunately, the pilots of the Concordia were successful in destroying much of the strike force, ensuring the security of the nexus. However, losses for the Terrans were severe.
