| On '''2654.279''', the [[TCS Tiger's Claw]], which was in the [[Kurasawa]] System as part of the [[Terran Confederation|Terran Confederation's]] offensive against the [[Empire of Kilrah|Empire of Kilrah's]] forces in the system, recieved a [[Tight Band|tight band]] transmission from the [[Exeter|Exeter-class Destroyer]] [[TCS Formidable]]. The ship was in rough shape as it had just came from a scrap with the enemy and needed an escort to the ''Tiger's Claw''. [[Ian St. John]] and [["Waxman"]] were originally given the escort assignment but [[Christopher Blair]] requested the mission as he had served aboard the ''Formidable'' during his [[Terran Confederation Naval Academy|Academy]] days.

| [[Chi Wing]], flown by Blair and [[Kien Chen]], was then launched and rendezvoused with the ''Formidable''. During the trip back to the ''Tiger's Claw'', Chi Wing encountered six [[Dralthi]] and four [[Krant]] kilrahti fighters.
