WCCIC Review
- You might be wondering why anyone would ever use this card. It's a Maneuver card, so it can only be played when you're already in the Combat Phase. Taunt is a decoy card. Let's say, for example, you have a pretty Excalibur weak and a weak Arrow (basically a better fighter and a worse fighter) at a nav Point. The enemy has a Bloodfang with a decorated pilot and weapon system aboard (basically an overwhelming force). You know that they will destroy either card they attack, so here you would use a Taunt to get them to attack the less useful fighter.
- This is a better use of a card in your deck because it doesn't take any power points to use (such as paying for a expensive replacement fighter would). It has an interesting effect, the casual player might pass this one up and instead take something flashier; but Taunt can throw a wrench in your opponent's plans. Use it wisely.
