Talbot is a star system in the Enigma Sector. It is a territory of the Terran Confederation. It seems to be very isolated, having only one registered jump point to Novaya Kiev.
In 2666, the TCS Concordia received a distress call from a courier ship in the Talbot System, saying they were under attack by the Kilrathi and carrying classified intelligence for Admiral Geoffrey Tolwyn. Captain Christopher Blair was sent to rescue the vessel, but by the time he warded off the ambush, the courier was heavily damaged and decompressing. The crew ejected a data pod for Blair to return to the Concordia. Blair escaped and delivered the intelligence to the Admiral.
