Chengdu is a star system in Vega Sector. The Chengdu System has at least one inhabited planet, Nanjing. As of April 2654, it was controlled by the Terran Confederation. Alternate names include "Cheng-Du" and "Chang-Cu".
On 2654.137, the TCS Tiger's Claw preformed several missions in the Chengdu System. These included:
- The rescue of a Hornet fighter from a wing of Kilrathi fighters.
- The escort of an Exeter-class Destroyer to its jump-Point
- A Code Red defense of the Tiger's Claw against a kilrathi attack.
