Chengdu is a star system in Vega Sector. The Chengdu System has at least one inhabited planet, Nanjing. As of April 2654, it was controlled by the Terran Confederation. Its alternate name is "Cheng-Du".
On 2654.137, the TCS Tiger's Claw preformed several missions in the Chengdu System. These included:
- The rescue of a Hornet fighter from a wing of Kilrathi fighters.
- The escort of an Exeter-class Destroyer to its jump-Point
- A Code Red defense of the Tiger's Claw against a kilrathi attack.
