Douglas Aerospace is one of the major defense contractors of the Terran Confederation. It designed many of the fighters flown by the Terran Confederation Navy in the final decade of the Terran-Kilrathi War. Among its fighter designs are the

Behind the Screens
Douglas Aerospace is named after Chris Douglas, lead art director on Wing Commander III and IV. The name is also likely a nod to the Douglas Aircraft Company, which produced many important American aircraft, among them the DC-3 and SBD Dauntless dive-bomber.
