Black Day for Blackstar (August 6, 2008)
There's more bad news for SpaceTime Studios. The Austin-based developer has been unable to find financing for their Blackstar space combat game and are being forced to cut their development team in half:

Yeah, for a rough idea you can compare the Archive.org version of their Team page to the current one. Looks like they lost about half of the people I immediately recognize as WC vets (including Chris Douglas). It's a damn shame that a group of really great, talented people championing space sims would have to suffer like they have for this project. I hope it works out somehow.
