Wing Commander in Concert Details Emerge
The Austin Symphony has released further details on the upcoming pops concert which will include music from George Oldziey's Wing Commander scores. The event is, unexpectedly, superhero themed:

The Austin Symphony will open its Pops season with a night of iconic music from your favorite superhero film and television shows. Your spidey senses will be tingling and you will be at the edge of your seat when you hear music from some of your favorites, such as Batman, Superman, Captain America, The Incredibles, X-Men, and much more! In addition to the music there will be visuals on a big screen to enhance your experience. All concertgoers are invited to come dressed as their favorite superhero. There might just be a contest with a special prize for the winner!
There just might be some “super” special guest. Stay tuned for more details!

We reached out to George Oldziey, who is currently orchestrating the music, for confirmation that this is the correct event. He replied in the affirmative: "Yes it is. I talked Peter Bay into believing Captain Blair was a superhero:)" Tickets are not yet available, but we will post as soon as they are for sale. You can be sure we'll be organizing a Wing Commander fan event surrounding this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear Wing Commander music played by a live orchestra! Mr. Oldziey notes that he hopes to see some costumes... so we'd better get working on a super-Tolwyn outfit:
