Electronic Arts has confirmed rumors that EA Replay will be released a week earlier than originally planned. The PSP compilation is now scheduled for an October 31st release. That's spooky good news for Wing Commander fans everywhere!
Flight Commander creator eddieb posted something neat to the forums: a 1995-vintage review of Wing Commander Armada that he wrote for his high school newspaper way back then. It's very well done... aside from overestimating the number of Gauntlet Mode missions (there are 15 for each side). That's a reasonable mistake to make, since it was nearly impossible to play through the entire campaign before the 'password' patch was released. There's a neat drawing, too!
