Max Garrett is the son of the attorney general of Delta sector. In his exclusive prep school, he was the BMOC and star athlete, but in his senior year, his father said that he "didn't feel Max had the discipline to make it in politics or business," so Max applied to the Academy.
While there, he racked up an all-time record number of disciplinary demerts, but graduated on the strength of his impressive flight scores. In his freshman year, Garrett was asked by Senator James Taggart to keep an eye on fellow cadet Lance Casey.
Garrett pulled strings to get a soft first assignment for himself and Casey ferrying diplomats around space, but was later rotated to the TCS Midway where he quickly rose through the squadrons, soon reaching the top Wolf Pack squadron.
Following the initial Nephilim encounter, Garrett was transferred to Special Operations and the TCS Cerberus where he served in the operation culminating in the capture of the alien Stellar Accretion Device in the Proxima system. |
