An Indonesian, born in Jakarta. Played WC1 & WC2 at friend's house, because I didn't have a computer at that time. Bought all WC games after WC2, except the Privateer series. Currently in Australia studying my Bachelor of Information Technology degree.. |

Collecting Amiga games last year, I picked up Wing Commander and was hooked by the quality and playability of the game. Having picked up the first three sequels, I still think it is perhaps
the best of them, but WC3 is truly an amazing game. In time I will probably acquire the later titles, nothing like eBay for this. About me then... I'm a computing student at Imperial College, 2 years down, 2 to go. For fun I go to the cinema, bars and the British Museum. I also enjoy collecting music by Pulp and playing those old Fighting Fantasy books, which are actually being reissued at the moment.

I was first introduced to WC on the Super NES. When I got my computer (P200 w/3D) my WC collection began to grow. I also enjoy a good RPG am a big fan of White Wolf's World of Darkness series. Other flight sims I enjoy are Colony Wars and on Sony Playstation and Descent FreeSpace on PC. |

I got addicted to Privateer as most people in here did. Until then, there was no other game which gave the player such a load of freedom. Just be you and roll the dice of life by yourself! Fantastic. Even with my 25 years, now and then I climb into my Centurion and fly rippin some Retros apart.

Hooked since the original (running on a 386 with a Sound Blaster), John has eagerly anticipated every successive Wing Commander game and has upgraded entire systems just for these games (especially when III was released - $450 for a 486DX2 66MHz and more RAM). He even owns a metal pencil sharpener shaped like the TCS Agincourt (Waterloo-class). "Bubba" will welcome the movie with open arms (and an open mind), ready to commend Mr. Roberts with a film equal in quality to his games.
