Those pages probably haven't been updated in about 15 years. You should use https://www.wcnews.com/wcpedia/Category:Wing_Commander:_Prophecy which does have a mods section. They were designed as game meshes, not necessarily as printable objects so it kind of depends. Alot of detail was done in textures so they may not print very well (if at all - thin walls, etc.). PM me and I can send you one to test with.
you should still be able to click on the notification and choose "keep". It's annoying but I guess it might save you from a random virus someday. (It's because it's an EXE file. Google won't let you email EXE files directly either). My workaround in chrome is to right click the link and choose "save link as" instead of directly clicking the link, which tries to open it. It still gives me an "insecure download" error in the download manager but you can then click "keep" to finish downloading.
