WC4 Disks

Is their any differene (rarity or otherwise) between the WC4 with the 6 yellow disks with lightening and the 6 colored disks with Blairs face on them?

One has the lightning bolt and the other has Blair's face.

Hey, wait a minute, are you thinking of the PSX WCIII discs? There's four of them in monochrome color with Blair's face on them.

(And I think the PSX version had a picture of a Dragon flying near a transport.)

The colored disks are one of the international releases, the yellow discs are the American version.

I found my yellow copy gathering dust in the back of a computer shop in downtown Rio. Here we haven't got big Pc stores like in the US, but places with dozens of small stores and hundreds of stall together. Until about 6 or 7 yrs ago, there were no local versions of games or publishers, so theses stores sold imported games. I got WC3 and 4 this way. HotT was pretty new when I bought it, but I only got TPoF after WCP was released. That means I probably purchased the very LAST "new" copy still available in the whole Rio de Janeiro. It was really meant for me.

I think there are minor movie differences.
I have the single sided DVD version (US) and the 6 CD version (Europe/German). One did show the scene with Paulsen in the shuttle from the front, the other only a "censored" variant from behind the seat. Also IIRC someone mentioned that one or two comms can differ (cannot check as my versions have different languages).

The British and French versions have the Paulsen scene, AFAIK... only Germany used the 'censored' versions.

I HATE it when we only get that stupid CENSORED German versions of all games in Austria even tho we DON'T have such a law :-(((
*cries*
