just wait and leat to gt some good cargo. I found taking art work from New Constantenopol to a pleaser planet is a good money maker.

Well, it's just flying cargo runs for ages. Thats how i got my Demon->Centaurion->Dralthi ships. And clean sweeps of course, after getting a real figther.

Find a "Defend" mission that has you going againt 15+ Pirates or Retros. Afterburn back and forth through them. They typically pay upwards of 250,000. Best done in a Demon with quad-autotracking Tachyons. Centurion might be a good idea too if you're bad at dodging, since it can equip L3 shields as opposed to the Demon's L2.
