I tried to change the mouse senstivity for the game in the vegastrike.config but any settings i made had no effect. Did i try to configure the correct ini file ?
If yes i tried to edit the senstitivity in those lines.
the game is set to use the drag to move control method.
<!-- #warp_mouse inv_warp_mouse -->
<var name="warp_mouse" value="true"/>
<var name="mouse_sensitivity" value="10"/>
<!-- #end -->
I use the windows version and i am using a logitech mouse driver.

I know it has probably been asked before but then it should be pinned/mentioned in the faq.
great remake i adore it really :)

hmm...warp mouse eh...you might want to try making it 100 or so... and I'll look into the code more

you can use the standard mouse controls instead of drag to steer...might make it easier...but I'll look more carefully...you can also try changing the mouse sensitivity in the control panel--might help

well i did try to change to high/normal/incredible high values
it didn't have any effect at all.
I tried the other mouse control method (the sensivity changes did work this time)
but i still dont like it as I prefer the other method for quick reactions especially for hunting talons :)
Oh btw i didnt find the control menu which you mentioned
if you refer to Vegastrike\Privateer\bin\setup.exe
i was unable to find it and i dont think there is a sensitivity button.

hmm try setting a mouse_exponent variable in the joystick section of the config
also make sure mouse_sensitivity is in the joystick section it seems to be multiplying by it...odd that it makes no difference

this is just a symptom of that unsolved mouse issue...

where small input is ignored, then it modes in huge chunks.

lowest possible degree turn is some snap, rather than a scalar defined by rate of mouse motion.

i know it's physics based, but the minimum force, should basically be lower, so that you can move in sub 1 degree increments...

long range shots are a drag atm, in drag to steer mode.
