How did you feel when

Colonel Jim

Spaceman
I give the following situations, and I want to know how you reacted to them.

1: When Hobbes betrayed Confed and mostly Blair, and Cobra died(WC3)
2: When Angel died? (WC3)
3: Who did you pick Rachel or Flint? and why?(WC3)
4: When you saw the Victory ram itself into the Kilrathi Flagship (WC3)
5: When Eisen was relieved of command by Paulsen (WC4)
6: When Eisen defected to the Border Worlds (WC4)
7: Vegabond died (WC4)
8: When you found out that Tolwyn was the bad guy afterall (WC4)
9: St Helens came out of the Jump Point and shot the crap out of the Vesuvius (WC4)
10: Christopher Blair wasn't the main Character in Wing Commander Prophecy
11: Christopher Blair died (WCP)

You don't have to answer them al but some of them would be nice. Who will do the kick-off?

8: When you found out that Tolwyn was the bad guy afterall (WC4)

I believe my precise thought was "Ah, so the Arrow only has half as many missiles now."

(1996 represent.)

1.) "There must be an explanation for this!" (and, thankfully, since I was playing the 3DO version, there was :))
2.) "Aw, that sucks."
3.) I picked Flint the first time through because--let's face it--she was clearly the better choice....
4.) "The losing path has all the fun!"
5.) "Captain Paulsen sucks."
6.) "WTF !"
7.) "NO!"
8.) "Whoa. Not good."
9.) "Just in the nick of time *yawn*."
10.) "That's pretty cool, passing the torch."
11.) "Passing the torch, indeed."

I still have to get my mitts on WC3 and WCP, but...
5) Great, some stuck-up puppet of Confed command...
6) So THAT'S why!
7) Looks like his luck really did run out...*sigh*
8) TOLWYN?!?!
9) I was wondering when the cavalry would get here...

1.) Aww crap, not him. Not Mr. 'Honor'
2.) Dammit!
3.) Flint, more personal depth.
4.) Godspeed gentlemen. (After seeing the resul) Wow, I guess it really is 'Tin Can Sally'
5.) Top brass, pain in the ass :)
6.) Well if he's doing, I might as well.
7.) Dammit Maniac, you had to beat him. And I knew he was KO because he drew the deadmans hand. Full house of Aces and Eieghts in Spades. The same hand Spirit drew when she bought it.
8.) After all he did to preserve humanity, that pissed me off.
9.) See, American volcanoes are better
10.) Well, it was time.
11.) Nnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooo!

1) never did trust the cat
2) NOOOOOOOOO
3) Flint, cause she looks better
4) good luck guys
5) WTF
6) WTF!!!
7) damn, that sucks
8) I knew it
9) sweet
10) he's gonna die
11) told ya he's gonna die

1: Man I was really pissed, I did trust him, and there was no explanation in the PC version. I took a fighter and shot his ass down, but when I saw Vaquero die, I turned to a Save game and did it again but without kicken Hobbes ass
2: Yes now I can kiss/shag a Chief-Tech Pornstar
3: At first Rachel because she didn't bore me with that "fathers" and "fly crap"
4: WOW!
5: This isn't right I don't trust this
6: What the hell I'm going with him
7: I was devestated for a week
8: I was just as pissed as with Hobbes. I couldn't stand it, because I used to respect the man
9: Wow that was cool, I didn't expect it, and when the two Titans clashed it was phenomenal
10: It was a shame, because Casey isn't cool at all. Therefore and you couldn't make interactive decisions. I felt like I was playing an episode of Beverly Hills 90210 So Wing Commander Prophecy was a big disappointment for me
11: Christopher Blair died and I couldn't sleep nor eat. Not that it was unexpected, but I wasn't satisfied with the way he died. I would have like to see hem make a Kamikaze run for the last tower or something. At least in the cockpit.

You see the Victory ram the H'varkahn if you lose WC3.

The conversation on the Bridge is.

Bridge, TCS Victory.
Rollins: Sir, all our shields are down! We can’t stop them!
Eisen: They are not taking my ship!
Rollins: Sir! What are you doing? You’re heading right into their fleet!
Eisen: We’re going to take as many of them with us as we can! Make your peace, Mr Rollins–

Then Tin Can Sally slams into the side of the Dreadnought....and barely makes a dent.

3.) Flint
8.) Of course he's the bad guy. It's Malcolm McDowell typecasting
9.) Yeeeeeeeeeeeha
10.) Someone please kill Zero...
11.) Why wasn't it Zero who died?

Ok, thats nice and all but how can I get to that mission?

1. I was slightly annoyed (When I first played wc3 I thought cobra was the spy)

2. Set the T-bomb to armed

3. Flint can be seen to be the more "classy" of the two...

4. Sure is a tin can sally alright..barely made a dent in that SOB

5. I bet Paulson loves the c--k

6. Break on through to the other side!

7. You damn dirty d--chebags! Get your faces f-----!

8. Brits, never can trust them.

9. Hell yeah Mofo Mofoing..

10. Time to enhance someone else's confed career

11. "But I'm not dead yet!" "Yes, You ARE!"

Just lose any single key mission and you'll go to Proxima and then to the final losing battle for Earth. For example launch your T-bomb at a dralthi instead of the fault line.

How could I pick Flint when she turns tail and executes a "strategic withdrawal" just when I need her help the most. That, and the fact that Rachel is a porn star. Has anyone played the third lonely ending when you don't pick either of them and you're all alone on the shuttle at the end?

I did when i played it the first time, because I wouldn't want to hurt their feelings. But I was 11 at the time so I was quite innocent at that age :D

I don't think we can say for sure that it is the Flagship H'varkahn. You see another dreadnaught behind the one the Victory rammed in the scene. Plus the Kilrathi emporer would probably be riding the Flagship of the fleet and we see him looking over the destruction of earth and snickering in the end.
