I know i'm new to this board but I wanted you all to know that for those who live in the Columbus Ohio area and have watched the news that at the Easton mall they are shutting down the Planet Hollywood area. What was so special about this area to me was the WC movie Rapier they had there suspended above your head. It's a shame this is happening as actually seeing the Rapier in person was a sight to see for me when I saw it for the first time. I just wonder what will happen to it now as they said that all the props they have there will be removed. I hope this gets put on the page as this seems like another blow to the WC community.

Have you asked them if they'd let you buy it? Or can you get us a good picture of it?

I'm originally from Columbus

I've been to Easton a few times, when I get back home. However, living in D.C., I'm out of touch with most news. The only thing I keep hearing about is the fact they fired Cooper and are looking for a replacement. I assume it is just the Planet Hollywood that is closing and not the AMC theater that is with it, which is probably the best in the area, imho. The rapier did look cool, nice battle damage. I've heard Planet Hollywood in general is in trouble, that one never seemed as busy as some of the others I've been to, so I'm not surprised. What part of the area are you from. I grew up in Clintonville/Beechwold.

Kris, it is cool, hangs from the ceiling, right in the center of the display. You walk under it to get to the escaltors that take you to the theater. If someone had a camera they could get several nice shots of it from a number of angles, since there is a second level around the area that it is located in. I won't be back soon enough, or I'd take a few shots for you.
