green egg followed me to righteous fire

first: this remake rocks! i loved this game both times around.

help! so i guess i never met this 'steltek scout' who was supposed to boost my steltek gun: when i emerged from the derelict, the drone was battling two retro talons. not knowing where the plot was headed, i saved the drone from the retros only to have it turn on me -- i sank 40 autotracking torpedos in it and didnt make a dent, and my un-boosted steltek gun doesnt do jack either. i fled. i landed on a couple of bases with it doggin my heels the whole way, and then ran to jolsen to start righteous fire thinking it would dissapear. somehow, im now getting anhilliated in righteous fire -- when i run a mission i get to fight six kats AND a green egg. oh, i also somehow still have the steltek gun.

can i go back and find this scout? so that i can cut the easter egg to pieces? or will the advance in the campaign storyline make that difficult...

any advice?

Do you have a pre-RF save? If so, load it, then land on any mining base except Rygannon, and talk to the Confed representative in the bar.

Uh oh. This is a bug. You have managed to start RF before the Privateer campaign has completed.
