Flyable ships?

Out of curiousity what ships are playable? Also what preconditions must be met before you can fly them? I noticed the demon wasn't available until I registered at the mercenaries guild.

If giving a complete list would be a major spoiler then I don't need one but I was particularly curious if the Talon was available anywhere. Thanks,

P.S. This is an awesome remake, with multiplayer support it would be about perfect.
 
Given that the Talon is actually available to a wide range of civvie groups there's a chance you could get one if you established connections with various pirates in Gemini. I also know an Operator who works out of New Detroit. He's called Sandoval, and I think you might want to pay him a visit.
