Bug: Repair when just armor/hull is damaged

After going head to head with a talon that has two mass drivers and a laser, my shields/hull in
If I go into the ship merchant and click 'basic repair', it shows a cost of $305.25... but if I click buy, it says "Your ship has no damage. No charge."
If I click into Hull, it gives me a fix option and allows me to fix the hull damage.

Is this a known issue, or does basic repair not include hull repairs?
 
In other words, basic repair is for things you can't select and repair manually. There is no HUD for you to buy or sell or repair, so basic repair covers that.
 
Ok. This is taking some getting used to, having played the original. Still needs some work, but I really respect all you've done so far!
