Holy ship! The details in the textures are simply amazing. I understand that you are heavily modifying the engine, still I never thought that this would be possible in this pretty old engine. Looking forward to playing this!
Very cool. Love the SO version.
BTW, will the cockpit glass stay in this light grey color? That's the only thing I am not sure about. I would prefer a darker color.
Hi Howard. I think at first it would be fine to update just the capships. Since these sprites had the same resolution as the fighters in the original game they would benefit the most. Getting close to a capship wouldn't feel like flying into a wall of colored blocks anymore - which you guys have...
First of all, awesome work! The hires Claw is amazing.
Regarding the models to use. In my opinion Howard Days models would be the perfect fit. The Dralthi and the Hornet are available here in the archive. Maybe he would also be willing to share the rest of them.
This looks really nice. I might get it and give it a try with my Vive.
Since I primarily prefer to play solo, do you know if there is more single player content coming?
Really cool stuff... again :)
Are you going to exchange the planets in the background too? Is it even possible? With all that crisp and clear textures of your reworked models the low res planets do really look out of place.
Very nice Teaser, Klavs - like it a lot seeing your ships finally in motion.
Will the final animation be in higher resolution or will you stay with 480p? Has something to do with render time, I suppose?
