iron duke: i've made a hornet and raptor before and i used dress making pins for the guns, which isn't something i'd like to do this time, but i think i'll make them a little less acurate to make them castable

right i'm thinking of making some new 1" scale fighters(the average fighter would be about 1 inch long), but would you guys be interested in buying some, they'd be about $3 each probably in resin(with a metal like finish) or pewter(similar to the stuff games workshop gaming miniatures are made...

it's called project alpha and it's a fun little space trading game set in our solar system with a top down style much like wing commander arena(and the battlestar galactca game)
the game is a little small but worth the 200...

i think cap ships at the sorta scale is too big to be usable for wargaming, but i have been considering doing a few fleet scale sized ships for full thrust players and such
maybe 3 or 4 cap ships each for confed and kilrathi and some smaller fighters(maybe 2, 3 for each faction)

they don't really have a scale, i just make them to be around an inch long
but i've worked out the scale of the drathi which is around 1/900th
your ranger class would be in the area of 1/6000th
so me thinks they would look a bit wierd together, and cap ships at such scales would be...

mostly with "green stuff" and millput, both are two-part epoxy putties used in miniature sculpting, over a basic plastic card frame
