    Veterans Day

Admiral H. - Thanks Admiral Huang : Thanks, your post is very appreciated. I am a Veteran, retired military with 22 years of service (Signals Intel - what used to be called the "Army Security Agency"; with several tours to Asia and Europe, beginning with Thailand in 1975); for that matter I am...

    MODERATORS:Deleted Thread?

BTW, I am *politely requesting* that unless there was some good reason for deleting the topic in the first place, that the thread be RESTORED, if possible.

    MODERATORS:Deleted Thread?

To the Staff / Moderators : I'm concerned about why the "Americans:Veterans Issues" thread was apparantly deleted from the Off Topic Zone sometime today. This forum section/area is titled "Off Topic Zone" "Anything at all that you want to talk about!" In the thread that I initiated, I...

    myJEMM

I was pleasantly suprised at how well MyJemm worked on my computer (AMD Athlon 1.33 GHz, 512MB RAM, WinME). It worked the first time, with no tweaking necessary (example trying to force some more conventional memory into the mix, the MyJemm ReadMe had a caution about Conv Memory and WinME)...

    BEST CPU for Privateer?

Okay nevermind Nevermind, did some extensive digging thru these forums (which is what I should have done in the first place) and apparantly people are running Privateer just fine on PII/450; so I should be OK with a P166.

    BEST CPU for Privateer?

Sorry, this is somewhat cross-posted, but I need information fast/soon - see my thread "Aquiring DOS Machine for Privateer?". I'm going to have a DOS machine built soon. I have a choice of a P1 100 Mhz or a P 166. The P166 would be the best *overall* choice to run the four old DOS games in...

Aquiring a DOS machine for Privateer(?)

Okay - Actually.... I called a small "Ma & Pa" computer place in my town today (Abilene, Texas - Preacher : YES, "in the boonies" (chuckle)). Anyway - its absolutely no problem, the guy has EVERYTHING I need, including shrinkwrapped copies of DOS 6.22. He can put a DOS machine together for...

Aquiring a DOS machine for Privateer(?)

Hi all - I'm an old WC fan, purchased and played Privateer / Righteous Fire a LONG time ago (soon after its release). As computers evolved, I gave away a lot of old stuff (~1998 or so) - not realizing at the time how much I would eventually miss them. I bought a copy of the "Privateer" Gold...
