    Cap ships

    Sounds like it's related to the AI behaviour of damaged fighters. They go spinning off to keep the shield facing you broke through away from you until it regenerates. Only problem is that the Kamekh isn't fast enough to do that.

    In the original, at least you could flip through a linear list and repair as you went, instead of having to dig through three-level-deep trees. The base interface in general needs work. It's good, but it could be better.

    The Proper Remake?

    Improve base handling. The original privateer base interface was MUCH smoother than the mission/loadout/shipyard interface in the game now. More audio/visual feedback for actions, at the very least.

    Part of the reason the above is the way the enemy ships move. I swear, the AI movement is bloody unnatural. Either they're very quick at toggling sliding, or they're simply making very good use of afterburners. I think speeding up bolts might be good. If ships get slowed down, they should...
